Choose between directly engraving on the wood or adding a metal plate for full color printing. The metal plate comes in gold, silver, or white metal.
Production Style
This product offers two production styles: laser engraving vs. printing. Learn more about the differences in our production style guide.
Direct Engraving
Laser engraving is the standard option for red alder wood. In this process, the laser strikes the wood surface and creates a shallow depression. The engraving is typically darker than the wood surface. We’ll adjust your artwork or logo for the best engraving results.
Sublimated
Sublimation is the standard option for aluminum metal. In this process, ink is heat pressed into the surface of the metal. With sublimation, we are unable to print in white. The white color will be replaced with the color of the metal. If you wish to keep the white in your artwork, select white aluminum. Products that are sublimated are only intended for indoor use. The ink will fade in direct sunlight.
Placing an Order
After you place your order, we’ll email your proof to the address you provided at checkout by the next business day. The email will include a link to view your design, request changes, or approve your proof. If you request changes, we’ll email a revised proof by the next business day.
Once you approve your proof, your order will ship within 1 business day. We’ll email your tracking information after your order ships.
